Piazza Roosevelt is the seat of the Municipality of Cattolica or of Palazzo Mancini: a splendid complex in neo Renaissance style which dates back to 1914, with its beautiful portico and a clock tower which rises towards the sky.
The design for the Municipality is by Engineer Marcovigi, and was later modified by Engineer Pasquale Pensa.
During the month of May, this square becomes the stae for the traditional "Festa dei Fiori" (Flower Fair), a grand exhibition of flowers immersed in a green area and surrounded by water shows using the splendid fountain.
