Palazzo Lettimi

Palazzo Lettimi is one of the most prestigious Renaissance buildings in Rimini. Its construction dates back to the beginning of the 16th century for want of Carlo Maschi, and important man of government.

The building has four floors and the decoration of the salon on the noble floor was commissioned to Marco Marchetti.

The building has hosted English Royal Family, and Cristina from Sweden. In 1770 it became property of the Lettimi family; the new owners restored the building, added a floor, and connected it to an adjacent residence. In 1902, thanks to the will of the owner, it was left to the Municipality.

The building hosts the Music Secondary School dedicated to Giovanni Lettimi.
