Temple of Vespasian

The Tempio del Divo Vespasiano (Temple of Vespasian) is situated in Rome in front of the Tabularium.
The Temple was dedicated to Vespasiano and his son Tito, and was terminated under the reign of Emperor Domiziano.
What remain standing are the three columns.
The Temple was of Corinthian order and access was gained through a front stairway. The Flavia-era entablature is made up of a frame of shelves and by frieze architraves. The sides the friezes are decorated by sacrificial instruments and by bucrania.
Of the internal area one can see the podium destined to host a religious statue and the walls which are decorated with a row of pilasters.
